GridView Pro collects zero personal data. No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry. Everything you do in the app stays entirely on your Mac.
GridView Pro does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:
GridView Pro is a native macOS application that uses Apple's WebKit framework to display websites in a grid layout. All browsing data, saved templates, and preferences are stored locally on your Mac using standard macOS storage mechanisms. No data ever leaves your device through our app.
When you use the Smart Content Detection feature (Cmd+Shift+G), the highlighted text is processed entirely on your device. The app opens URLs in your browser panels based on the detected content type. No highlighted text is sent to any server.
GridView Pro displays third-party websites within its browser panels. These websites have their own privacy policies and may collect data according to their own terms. GridView Pro has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of these third-party sites.
Our website uses PostHog for anonymous, privacy-focused analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site. This is separate from the GridView Pro app, which contains no analytics whatsoever.
GridView Pro is distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple may collect certain data as described in their privacy policy. We do not receive any personally identifiable information from Apple about our users.
GridView Pro does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app contains no data collection mechanisms of any kind.
If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new date. Given our zero-collection approach, changes are unlikely.
